Exceptional location, of rare elegance and refinement, worthy of the best European wineries, in the center of Sibiu along the steps of "Turnul Scarilor".Outside, a terrace with a few seats provides intimacy and romance; inside, classic barrel vaults with exposed brick and stone.Equally exceptional is the wine list, excellent food and impeccable service (although a few more smiles from the owner would have been appreciated).The final price finally an equally pleasant surprise, so much so that we also returned for dinner on our second night in Sibiu.

Lovely place, a hidden gem in a 600 years old celery. A must for wine lovers, great variety.Good food. Tried the baked goat cheese dish with sweet & sour vegetables, it was super interesting and goes well with wine. Tochitura is also good. The onion pie is something else, it's not your typical pie, I see it more as an onion lasagna. Ask about it if not sure.The owners and staff are lovely too!Great atmosphere in a wonderful location within the beautiful old town.Reservations are recommended if you want to be sure.

What a place to spend some time drinking wine and enjoying the weather in the summer! It's green, cosy, multidimensional, with lovely service and furry (cat) support. The wines and food were great as well.We came back after 12 years and reaffirmed it is still an exceptional place for us to go in Sibiu.I would give 6 stars for atmosphere if that was possible.

Such a lovely place to share a bottle of wine and some nice food. The resident cat is adorable, she even came to sit with us, and the owners are so friendly.We had a bottle of wine, one sharing platter and 2 mains for 240RON (40/48). They have an extensive selection of Romanian wine from all over the country at reasonable prices.We went off season and it was pretty quiet, but I recommend booking if you can especially if your party of larger and two people. I'd go back any time, loved it here!

Absolutely amazing! The food, the service, the conversation! Best restaurant we have been to in the 5 days we have been in Romania. We had an entire bottle of wine plus an appetizer before our main course! Must try the Tochitură!

Amazing hidden place. Atmosphere is perfect. Quiet calm music, fire churning in the wooden stove. Staff knows perfect english and is really polite and quick to respond. I would come again and I recommend any couple to book a table here and have a nice dinner. I wouldnt recommend for kids. Tables are limited so try to catch a free spot.Mulled wine is just amazing!!!!!
